The stud has continued to purchase quality fine wool rams including a Merryville Ringmaster (2001), Grathlyn Jackpot (2002), and a Merryville Uniform 39th purchased for $9000 at Bendigo (2003), Alfoxton President 41 for $18,000 at Armidale (2009) and two rams from Tara Park (2008).<\/p>\n
In 1995 renowned sheep classer John Williams of Cooma joined the team, classing the flock in conjunction with Patrick and Andrew and their father Bede. Under John’s guidance the stud has reduced micron and significantly increased fleece weight, reforming the property to a true fine wool stud.<\/p>\n
The studs aim is to continue to grow fine wool on large frames with the ability to cut lots of wool.<\/p>\n
